Aimless clicking

This post suggests that we should not get distracted by digital stuff and just wander in a digital swamp because this would be similar to standing in front of a forest for hours. Instead, we should think about what we want to do and just go to places where we think we would like to spend some time. We should avoid being stressed and anxious about the digital world and just let ourselves be guided by our curiosity and our desire to know things.
A freelancer’s dilemma
(Posted on 23rd November 2021)
Seth writes about how entrepreneurs should be clear about what they own and what they are good at in order to increase their business.
Seth compares this problem with a freelancer.
It is very difficult for freelancers to be clear about what they own or what they are good at, because there is a lot of competition.
This leads them to create problems for themselves when they start new projects and try to get paid for work that they don’t enjoy doing. This problem can be avoided by being clear about what you own and what you are good at in each project.
Marketing as a service
(Posted on 23rd November 2021)
Some people think that marketing is a way to manipulate people. When we do this, we are trying to use someone’s emotions to get them to buy something that they don’t want or need. We are thinking only about ourselves. It’s selfish. It’s a hustle. It’s not marketing.
Marketing has become synonymous with manipulation because we try to make people buy things they don’t want. This is not good for society as a whole.
Seth agrees that marketing is used for selfish purposes, but he argues that when we market something for the sake of the people, it is marketing as a service.
It is not manipulative and selfish, but helpful and caring. It is not just for the sake of money, but for the sake of others. He believes that people like us because we think and act with empathy and compassion, and if we use our intelligence to connect with people and help them solve their problems, we can improve society and improve
Books unread
(Posted on 24th November 2021)
This is a reminder to us that we are constantly learning and should be reading more books that will help us to become better people.
Seth believes that we should always be curious and that we should read books to learn and become better people. He believes that it is better to spend our lives learning than to waste our lives doing nothing.
So many accidents
(Posted on 25th November 2021)
We have many good things in our lives.
Seth states that we should be thankful for our good health, our family, our friends, our education, our jobs, our cars, our homes, etc. He thinks that we should be grateful for our opportunities.
But we should not ignore the negative accidents. If we are happy with our lives, we should not be upset by accidents that do not happen or by things that go wrong.
We should think critically about what is useful to us and try to improve ourselves and our lives by doing things that are useful for us.
Under the circumstances
(Posted on 27th November 2021)
Seth says that the best way to change the system is to start small, and if it works then the system will support your change.
You have to work hard to improve things, but you have to work even harder to get the people who have power in the system to improve it with you.
A Scrabble hack
(Posted on 28th November 2021)
This post describes a hack that is used in scrabble, but Seth thinks this hack could help us to make better decisions.
It shows how we can improve our lives by making small changes in our everyday habits. A small change, such as choosing one of our letters in our Scrabble word game, can make a big difference.
