Postponing Failure
It’s funny how we embrace failure in the short run but spend so much time afraid of it.
If you don’t fail, it’s unlikely you’re going to find much in the way of forwarding motion. You’re less likely to make a breakthrough, inspire, and create…
While it might feel safer to postpone failure, the reality is that you’re likely to get just as far (or less far) by failing now and then doing the hard work of recovery and re-creation.
And once you fail, that’s it—you fail. You can’t un-fail, and failing now means you’re closer to success.
Maybe you shouldn’t race to fail, but you should definitely race to succeed.
